The very first project that Onagono did was a limited customized T-shirts collection. Organic and fairly traded cotton men's T-shirts were hand-stitched, some of them were hand-stitched to ladies size (because they were the only suitable garments that could be sourced at that time), screen-printed and serial number stamped.

Onagono has launched a first full range women's wear collection for Spring/Summer 2008 that was showcased at the Pret-a-Porter exhibition in Paris, September 2007.

The collection has now been sold though retailers in 6 countries including UK, Germany and Japan.

The Cat's Eye T-shirt collection is a collaboration between Onagono, artist Rupert Smyth, and art coordinator Ayako Terashima.

Cat's Eye's visually distinctive T-shirts contain a subtle message in regards to endangered animals: the aim is not to dictate to people what to do, but to trigger awareness.
